Can you guess what this energy device is called? Kids and parents can build this solar energy device that fights the climate change that is responsible for landslides in North Vancouver. It also reduces risk of forest fires and lessens the need for chopping down trees. Bring yourself and your smart kids to Solar Power Roadshow's November 18th hands-on workshop (pre-registration required) at the Gifted Children's Association of BC's "Super Saturday" event and you'll bring home one of these devices. FYI, each of these mysterious solar energy devices would cost from $25-$125 if you were to purchase them. They're used at homes and camps around the world but are virtually unknown in BC. Contact Solar Power Roadshow to find out more about this Gifted Childen's Association of BC, North Vancouver chapter event. This is sustainability education disguised as fun, or 'edu-fun', or you might call it 'edu-tainment'. |
