Promoting Healthy Living: A Multicultural Health Fair

A combination of fun and educational activities, the Multicultural Health Fair is a free community event that will provide a simple way for multi-ethnic families to become aware of crucial health topics and encourage the community to adapt healthier lifestyles. A one-stop shop for basic health information and major preventative health issues, from obesity to diabetes, the Fair will also answer questions about healthy foods and connect the multicultural community to BC’s health resources. Incorporated in the day’s events will be interactive health test and displays, in the languages of new Canadians, for what are largely lifestyle-oriented diseases.
