SURREY, BC – There are 1,000's of Elvis Tributes out there, but with his incredible voice, charismatic charm and convincing look, there is only one Wally Tiemer! One of Canada’s best-known tribute groups takes to the stage at the Bell Performing Arts Centre on February 17 at a concert to benefit The Surrey Association for Community Living. This exciting event is back again, after the success of the past two years. Get your tickets soon as this concert sells out every year, a perfect Valentine’s treat for that special someone.
Winner of the Keywest Elvis Impersonator Contest, 1999 Collingwood Elvis Festival Grand Champion Finalist, and Official Spokesman and Professional Headliner for the 2002 Pacific Northwest Elvis Festival, Wally Tiemer as Elvis Gold has taken the country by storm. He has thrilled audiences from around the world with his musical tribute to the King of Rock n’ Roll. Not only his uncanny resemblance to Elvis, but also his powerful, exacting vocals and likeable personality, leaves audiences with an unforgettable entertaining experience. Wally has performed for Legends of Rock n’ Roll playing all three eras of the "Elvis, Elvis, Elvis" production and has performed at Club Med in the Dominican Republic for two shows a day for over a thousand travelers from around the world. He has performed in the United States and Mexico and continues to expand his touring throughout Canada, as well as doing radio and TV commercials for Canadian and American companies. Wally always tells the audience that he is “not Elvis - there will only ever be one Elvis Presley” but his professionalism, dedication and sincerity in paying tribute to “the King” go hand in hand with the image of Elvis Presley, "The King of Rock ‘n Roll and this centuries’ greatest entertainer.” www.elvisgold.com

Last year, proceeds from the Aiming for the Stars concert were to purchase and lease two passenger vehicles, helping people with developmental disabilities gain access to the programs and services they need in the community. At least six more vehicles are needed to replace an aging fleet. This year our goal is two more vehicles and they will be used to support programs for children and adults that improve their access to vocational, social and recreational skills activities.

Surrey Association for Community Living was founded in 1958 by a group of dedicated parents to provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The Association provides services and support for individuals with special needs and their families and advocates on their behalf. Through committed leadership and guidance, the Association creates an inclusive, safe, caring community that values dignity and choice.
