MOON WATCH
MOON VOID OF COURSE
The moon makes one complete revolution around the zodiacal wheel each month, spending a little more than 24 hours in each of the 12 signs. When the moon is about to complete its visit through one sign and does not make any planetary connections (called aspects) before it moves on to the next sign, it is considered “void of course.” The moon’s influence or biorhythm is weak during these few hours, which can cause diminished success or satisfaction. If optimum results are your aim, wait until the moon fuels up in a new sign before you do it, buy it, or say it. Timing is everything!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18) Still searching for your next bests? Use Mercury’s retrograde cycle to get better educated and better known. If you have freedom or free choice, run with creativity and watch it work for you. You should end up with something substantial to show for your efforts, especially as the month draws to a close.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) You may need to rearrange finances or clear up a relationship matter while Mercury continues in retrograde. Memories of your past can pull on you, too. News, a contract settlement, an offer, or a new job may come at the Full Moon Oct. 14. Best get-together/come-together dates: Oct. 29–31.
ARIES (March 21–April 19) Romantic, financial, or social, Mercury retrograde continues to keep potentials and promises up in the air through mid-month. Be receptive, bounce ideas around, but give it time to see what else (or who else) pops up before you confirm or commit. Past Oct. 18, Venus brings better opportunities or answers.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) Use Mercury retrograde to check back with clients and contacts, and make sure you have something extra to offer. Work contracts, divorce agreements, etc. may need renegotiating, but don’t finalize before Oct. 14. Social and romantic prospects are increased Oct. 23–31. Your money works better for you, too.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) You may need to change your approach to your work or health regimes. Broaden your search and scope. Experiment more; it will get you somewhere. Same goes for your love life. Obvious results or the writing on the wall will start to show in the second half of the month.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) Family relationships and home-related matters eat up most of your attention and finances through Oct. 14. Things become especially decisive around the Full Moon; watch for a solution or a way out, perhaps one you didn’t expect. Re: all undertakings, ambitions, and relating, your best stars occur Oct. 23–31.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) Mercury retrograde thrusts you into a social cycle; needy people single you out of the crowd. A change of address or new marketing strategies could keep you running around more than usual, too. The Full Moon brings excitement, fun, new opportunity; your team could hit a winning streak.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Budgets, back to the books, or getting into the right social swing take concentrated effort now. Your balancing act is more challenging while Mercury continues retrograde. Flirting could start a fire, but don’t get too emotionally entangled prior to mid-month. Past Oct. 18, you’ll know if it’s worth pursuing or not.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Keep your health regime up and stay away from those who have Kleenex in hand. While it could be hard to slow down, at least try to pace yourself! October’s stars bring a second chance to reinvent your wheel. The lucrative Full Moon marks a successful take-off point for new initiatives.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Consider the first half of the month as test-pilot time and don’t spill your beans too soon. The Full Moon Oct. 14 can expose a missing puzzle piece. Mars in Scorpio empowers you through mid-November. Oct. 29–31, go for it; luck and synchronicity are on your side.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) Network as much as possible and get your social fill, too. The confidence-building Full Moon puts you in the spotlight. You could make a good score or enjoy a winning streak; new love can be hot stuff! Once a door opens, expect an adventure.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20) Don’t let yourself get sidetracked with extras or asides. If you lose your resolve or sense of direction, it’s probably just a temporary back-step. Contracts and issues with the bank, authority, or the justice system can take careful navigating too. The Full Moon can challenge you, but somehow it all works out just fine.
