MOON WATCH
The moon makes one complete revolution around the zodiacal wheel each month, spending a little more than 24 hours in each of the 12 signs. When the moon is about to complete its visit through one sign and does not make any planetary connections (called aspects) before it moves onto the next sign, it is considered “void of course.” The moon’s influence or biorhythm is weak during these few hours, which can cause diminished success or satisfaction. If optimum results are your aim, wait until the moon fuels up in a new sign before you do it, buy it, or say it. Timing is everything!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20)
Sometimes you plow hard, sometimes you motor right on through; Mars in Sagittarius keeps you on a fired-up mission through to Dec. 27. You are in your element Christmas Day. Dec. 28–29, make it a full stop. Throw a party or chill quietly at home New Year’s Eve.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20) The stars fire up that bursting-at-the-seams feel Dec. 11–17. Patience could be on a short leash during the Full Moon Dec. 12. Find a healthy outlet! Dec. 27–29, Mars and Pluto could be explosive. Christmas Day, keep it simple. Spontaneity works great New Year’s Eve.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18) The Full Moon Dec. 12 brings an arrival, a departure, or a time to let loose with your favourite company. Dec. 14, 15, 16 can take you past a deadline, or they’ll finish you off! Christmas Day, let go; play. Dec. 30 can be great fun. New Year’s Eve, cozy up.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) Dec. 11–12 could bring something unexpected, perhaps even jarring. Be especially careful when driving and avoid confrontation as best you can. Then again, Mars and Uranus could bring exhilaration. Dec. 14–16, finish it. Dec. 25, get your fill. On Dec. 31, the later it gets, the better you get.
ARIES (March 21–April 19) Mars tours Sagittarius through Dec. 26, so whether you hop on a plane or
simply spread the holiday cheer, the month brings ample happy-making moments. Dec. 11–19 can launch an over-the-top cycle. You can cross a big threshold, outdo quotas or expectations, or find yourself suddenly on the fly.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) You could surpass your credit limits early in the month; overspending is almost impossible to avoid. Don’t lose sight of the real message of the season. Your time and your heart are the best gifts you can give. The New Moon Dec. 27 begins a personal satisfaction cycle. Stay cozy New Year’s Eve.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) The Full Moon Dec. 12 could be exciting or jarring. Be especially careful when driving, and keep your phone handy in case you are needed unexpectedly. Dec. 11–19, expect to be super busy. Dec. 25, delight is mixed with some of the usual strain. Dec. 30–31, enjoy the fun.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) Pluto’s advance into Capricorn can find you trying harder to make up for lost time. For some, Christmas is simply a day squeezed between work and more work. If you are spending it alone, know that spiritual sustenance/observance is the way to fill the gap. Ring in the New Year peacefully.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) Use the very first of the month to get your to-do list accomplished with maximum efficiency. Dec. 6, 11, 12, 14–16, 21, and 22 (Hanukkah) can be demanding, but it’s par for the season. Try to make Christmas no fuss. Relax, hide out New Year’s Eve.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) As per usual, you’ll have a propensity for putting yourself under extra pressure and will do more than is required. Your generosity is admirable, but don’t overburden yourself. Christmas Day is satisfying; accept what is and bless the rest. Enjoy New Year’s Eve, romantic or social.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Your energy and take-charge determination set you on a dynamic roll at month’s start. Once Venus enters Aquarius (Dec. 7), your social life can get even busier; romance soups up nicely, too. Dec. 12–17 can be almost too much. The more the merrier, Christmas Day. New Year’s Eve, wind it down.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Demand for your attention, time, and dollars is high, but you’ll find a knack for making it all doable. The pressure is on; streamline as best you can Dec. 6, 11, 12, 14, 15, 21, and 22 (Hanukkah). Christmas Day, it all falls into place. New Year’s Eve brings social and romantic delight.
