This German-born photographer has spent the last 50 years producing a substantial collection of images portraying Vancouver’s urban life as a site of tradition and change, collection and dispersion, production, expenditure, and alienation. The Vancouver Art Gallery presents this landmark exhibition, Vancouver Photographs, featuring more than 100 photographs covering Herzog’s entire career.
