Vancouver Children’s Choir takes to the stage to Welcome Summer on Saturday June 7 (3 pm) at Vancouver’s Christ Church Cathedral. The concert celebrates and honours Mother Earth in all her beauty. Please join the choir for an afternoon full of works that extol sunshine and summer pleasures.

All are warmly invited to come celebrate the grand opening of the Tupper Neighborhood Greenway, to take place Saturday June 7th, from 12:15 – 2:30 p.m., in the 500 block of East 23rd Ave! The ribbon cutting will take place at 12:15 p.m., and we have a wide variety of fun activities for people of all ages. Enjoy performances from the Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach Program, Killarney Secondary School singers, La Riva dance studio and La Riva music studio, our Tupper Dance Squad, and more! Paint and take home your very own plant pot! And enjoy our delicious refreshments!

In this presentation Clifton will be discussing how rammed earth, a green alternative to concrete, can be applied for fences, gardening and outdoor structures such as greenhouses, gazebos and carports. This presentation will also define rammed earth and cover how it is made, its thermal properties, colour choices and more.
