Millman is the author of The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, a classic in the human potential movement. The book has been made into a major feature film starring Nick Nolte which opens nationally in the US on March 30th.

Millman is appearing at The Haven Institute's Fourth International Symposium in Vancouver on the theme of Personal Leadership in the Real World.

Millman’s keynote address is Friday evening April 13th. On Saturday April 14th the event continues with a panel discussion with Dan Millman and members of the Haven Faculty and interactive presentations by Haven faculty.

The Haven Institute on Gabriola Island operates a residential training centre on the leading edge of professional and personal development. The Haven's courses offer people opportunities to gain new awareness, meaning and perspective in their lives.

The Symposium starts Friday, April 13th with Dan Millman’s keynote at 7:30 pm at the Marriott Pinnacle 1128 West Hastings Street. The movie will follow. Saturday, April 14th the event moves to SFU Harbour Centre, 515 West Hastings Street. It starts at 9:30 am and runs til 6 pm.
