Students of Capilano College’s Outdoor Recreation Management Program are presenting an extraordinary event called ‘The Power of Adventure in Life and Leadership’ on the evening of April 1st with the adventure beginning at 7:00pm in Capilano College’s Performing Arts Theatre.
We are proud to present Jonathan Willcocks, who is the President and Founder of Pinnacle Pursuits, a Vancouver company that provides learning solutions and adventure experience to build leadership capacity and team performance.
This event is a motivational keynote experience. It will be an evening of story-telling, self-exploration and discovery. A multi-media experience that will educate, motivate, and inspire the audience to step out of their everyday comfort zone and learn new ways to challenge themselves, expand their horizons, and take on new risks at work, in life, and at play with commitment, confidence, and courage!

This is a one of a kind event, with astounding door prizes that include rafting and kayaking trip passes, many wonderful clothing items, pottery and much more. We will also be raffling of a pair of weekend passes to the 2008 Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival.

Partial proceeds from the event will go towards the non profit organization ‘Run for One Planet’. This is an 11,000-mile year-long run around North America by two Canadians to inspire Environmental Action. Additionally any profit made will go towards a bursary to help future Capilano College students.
