Everyone is welcome to a public talk with Gen-la Dekyong. We are extremely fortunate to welcome this international Teacher to Vancouver.

At this special event on Thursday, January 12th she will give a talk on the book Modern Buddhism. This book, by renowned author and meditation master, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, is a special presentation of Buddha’s teachings on compassion and wisdom that communicates their essence in a way that is easy to understand and put into practice.

Gen-la Dekyong is an inspiring and engaging Teacher whose teachings are of interest to everyone; Buddhist and non-Buddhist, young and old. We look forward to welcoming you to this special event in January.

After the talk please join us at Tilopa Buddhist Centre, less than a 5 minute walk from the Croatian Cultural Centre for a tour of our meditation room, cafe and bookstore. Enjoy a cup of complimentary homemade chai tea upon your arrival.
