CONSCIOUS LIGHT

Vancouver-based filmmaker-gone-photographer Martin Prihoda shines a new light on portraiture in a collection of hyper-dramatic images that add a dimension of unreality into portraiture. Exposing moods and drama while respecting the visual and emotional facts of life, this distinct off-camera lighting captures moments you would never dream possible. Set against the backdrop of an ominous sky these images are sure to get you reflecting on the battle between light and dark, the shadow and the emerging.
