Experience a month of adrenaline-driven dance! From March 4-29, the 2008 Vancouver International Dance Festival (VIDF) features more than twenty local, national, and international dance companies in mainstage, cabaret and late-night performances. Artists taking to the mainstage at the Roundhouse Community Centre include Flamenco fusion dancer Ana Arroyo from Spain (March 4-5); Toronto Dance Theatre (March 6-8); Gaetan Gingras (Quebec), Kaha:wi Dance (Ontario), and Raven Spirit Dance (BC) in two evenings of dance entitled Indigenous Dancelands (March 11-12); a shared bill of contemporary dance from France featuring Rita Cioffi (March 13-15) and Fabrice Ramalingom (France); and local companies EDAM (March 19-22), Co. ERASGA, (March 25-26), and Kokoro Dance (March 27-29).
