Vancouver Skyline and Green BBQ

It was looking dicey, but the skies cleared up just in time for the Vancouver Skyline and Green BBQ on July 24. More than 500 people of all ages attended the Jericho Beach Park event, which provided ample opportunity for meeting like-minded people, trying out e-bikes, eating great food, or just kicking back and enjoying the sunshine. Even Green Drinks regulars marvelled at how large and diverse Vancouver’s green scene is getting—it’s truly surpassing all boundaries. The BBQ was sponsored by the Ethical Funds Company, Delta-Q Technologies, Choices Markets, and SharedVISION, and organized by BC Sustainable Energy Association, Green Drinks Vancouver, Connecting Environmental Professionals, and Net Impact. The next Green Drinks event takes place August 15, 5:45 pm at Steamworks (375 Water Street).
